| Owen passed away peacefully, in the Regional Hospital Portlaoise, in his 94th year, in the company of his loving family. Deeply regretted by his wife Mary, son John, daughter Maria and her partner Patrick. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Ned, Fr. John, Norah and Kathleen, Owen’s brother in law Fr. Billy Behan. Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 5pm to 8pm with recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal, by Whelehan Funeral Directors, on Tuesday morning at 11.20am, to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Rath, for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in the new cemetery, Emo. Owen’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://youtu.be/lloiRc9X2Dc.
