Peacefully in her sleep while in the tender care of the staff of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Joe, daughters Noreen and Bernadette and her son Darby. Mary Ita will be sadly missed by her loving family Jim, Joe, Declan, Philomena and Martha along with her extended family, grandsons and granddaughters to whom she was very close with, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:20am arriving St John’s Church, Killenard for Requiem Mass at 11am after which Mary Ita will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
