Bridie Higgins (née Guinan) Annamoe, Portarlington, Offaly / Geashill, Offaly

Formerly of Geashill, County Offaly. Heartbroken by the recent loss of her husband Frank (27 March 2025). Bridie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving son Ciarán and daughters Críona, Maeve and Áine. Bridie borne her illness with great dignity and grace. Predeceased by her brothers Eamonn and Pat. A dearly loved mother-in-law to Páraic, Louise and Alan. Bridie will always be remembered with love by her adored grandchildren Conor, Laura, Naoise, Jack, Oisín, Lucy, Mark and Caitlín. Sadly missed by her brothers Brian and Mick and her sister Ita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, her wider family, neighbours and friends.

 

May She Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Holy Thursday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Good Friday at 11:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.
